Located in the heart of the nation’s fifth largest city, Phoenix’s Innovation District (PHX Core) offers access to anything and everything you need for a business to thrive – a network of innovators, easily accessible public transit, a deep talent pool, and lots and lots of coffee.

PHX Core encompasses the east side of downtown and the historic Warehouse District. The PHX Core is home to a nucleus of higher education activity: Campuses from all three Arizona public universities, two law schools, a medical school and multiple coding boot camps. Plus, workforce development programs from the City of Phoenix and Maricopa County.

The Phoenix Biomedical Campus—a collective of education, clinical and research institutes including TGen, the UA Cancer Center, and U of A College of Medicine Phoenix—is a PHX Core anchor and the fast-growing bio industry is a cornerstone of the regional economy.

The number of tech companies in the PHX Core continues to soar—Galvanize alone is home to nearly 100 and many others co-locate in the same buildings. The growing network of startups unites under the banner #yesphx.
